Dry eye
Advanced dry eye management for difficult cases where lubricant eye drops are not enough. In-office therapies include meibomian expression, punctal plugs, medication, scleral contact lenses, IPL. Lacrimal lavage (tear duct syringing) can help with longstanding watery eyes.
Myopia management and Orthokeratology
Evidence-based control of myopia progression- including orthokeratology night-time contact lenses, atropine eye drops, myopia control glasses. The biggest concern with short sightedness is the increasing eye length, and at Simpson Optometry we are able to monitor the length of the eye with state of the art technology.
Keratoconus and Specialty contact lenses
Eyes that are effected by Keratoconus , corneal grafts, or other distorted corneas may need specialty rigid contact lenses, including scleral and other custom contact lenses. Jenny has undergone further training in a post graduate Masters course to manage these cases.
